I saw on a website today that pays writers. On the website, it is boldly stated there that they'll pay 0.5 naira per word and the first thing I did was to take out my calculator and multiply #0.5 by 1000. The result was #500, so I said to myself, "these guys will pay me #500 if I write a 1000 word article". After saying this, I said something else, "writers dey suffer".
This might be a little bit long, but who knows? Cause I don't.
Let me deviate a little bit, my main reason for writing this was to talk about writers and how some writers don't really know much abi writing. I may not know everything yet, but I know enough to say what I wanna say today. After discovering that I love writing, I started learning about writing and how writers think. I remember writing a piece a few months back and I titled it "a writers letter". What I wrote there is quite different from what I intend to write here, but that isn't the point.
